Practical exercises with LTSpice
Exercises description
Using the lossless transmission line (Tline) model in LTSpice, use the reflectometric method to determine the length of a coaxial cable whose dielectric is polyethylene with relative permittivity \( \epsilon=2.25\).
Next, build a model of a laboratory slotted line with a moving probe. Bring a sinusoidal signal with a frequency of about 1 GHz from the generator to the line and, moving the probe, examine the standing wave and, based on it, determine the frequency of the excitation signal by measuring the distance between the minima.
When you're done, compare the result with the video.
