L5: Electrical noise - practical exercises with LTSpice

Exercise description

Investigate the noise of the \( 100 k \Omega \) resistor at the temperature of liquid nitrogen (\( -195.8^o C\)), dry ice (\( -78.5^o C\)), melting ice (\(0^o C\) \)), ambient temperature (\(25^o C\)) and water boiling (\(100^o C\)). Use a noiseless current source with current efficiency \( 100 \mu A \). Compare with the value calculated from Johnson's thermal noise formula. Examine the noise level vs. resistance for the \(1 k \Omega \), \( 10 k \Omega\) , \( 100 k \Omega\) and \(1 M \Omega \) resistors. Demonstrate the additivity of noise from several resistors.

When you're done, compare the result with the video.
